2019 Florists & Table Designers

The L'Esprit de Noël Holiday Home Tour could not happen without the contribution each year from an incredibly talented group of florists and table designers. For 2019, we are pleased to showcase the work of the following local talent:

Birdsall & Co. has been a Denver staple for over 30 years, offering only the finest and most unique home and garden products with personalized service. Known best for our diverse selection of fountains, outdoor furniture, and containers, we also provide beautiful home and garden decor and gift ideas to our customers. We strive to carry products that are uniquely available at the store, art by local artists, and unique fair trade items, as well as the highest quality gardening tools and accessories.

Our buyers rigorously research what we bring into the store to ensure that they are not available in big box stores, and only buy small amounts of products to keep the store fresh and dynamic. As a brick and mortar, locally-owned family business run by women who love what we do, we are dedicated to providing the best customer service, quality and variety of products, and inspiring shopping experience.

At Bouquets, we have been delighting flower connoisseurs with our extraordinary floral décor since 1985. Our designers would be delighted to provide our elegant magic for you, as well.

Visit our website at www.bouquets.org where you can learn more about the floral company Bon Appétit Magazine included among their choice of the country's top ten.  They called Bouquets “one of the most romantic florists, who can put your fondest feelings into works of art.”

Every Bouquets floral team is headed by an accredited member of the American Institute of Floral Designers, an exclusive organization of high-level artists who have passed the rigorous blind certification evaluation process required for membership. There are just over a dozen AIFD members in Colorado. Bouquets is the only retail floral business that employs two AIFD members.

Biography and details about Flower Power are coming soon!

The Perfect Petal came on the Denver floral scene at a time when very few were experimenting with the hard to find and fragile blooms that were the cornerstone of what came to be known as The Perfect Petal Look.

Many years, three expansions, and 26 additional team fellows later, we still comb the Dutch markets, Oregon and Bay area farms, Colorado dahlia and garden rose growers, moss foragers and north Texas cotton farmers for the strange, beautiful and spectacular. We know this effort pleases our clients and friends and makes us smile as we work.

On our journey, we have gained the trust of Colorado's most well known brands and venues. We are proud to be the preferred florist to The Four Seasons Denver, Ritz Carlton, The Art Hotel, Sage Hospitality Hotels, The Denver Nuggets, The Colorado Avalanche, The Denver Broncos and many more. We have been voted Top of the Town for Best Florists by 5280 Magazine, and Best Event Florists by Colorado Meetings and Events Magazine. We hold these accolades dear, and our clients interests and privacy dearer.

After years working in flower shops in Boulder and Chicago, and on an organic farm in Boulder, owner Erin Hornstein was approached by several customers and friends to create wedding flowers. Her fresh and creative vision led to the creation of Plum Sage Flowers in the spring of 2005.

Located in the West Wash Park neighborhood of Denver in a late 1800's home with a crew of studio pups, the Plum Sage team travels throughout CO and beyond to accommodate our clients’ needs, creating stunning flower arrangements for weddings, holidays, special events, weekly or everyday occasions.

While we strive to purchase locally grown, organic product and during the summer months buy locally grown blooms from Stevens and Son Wholesaler, Arrowhead Farms, and City Gal Farms, Plum Sage also uses a wide variety of fresh flowers from around the world for our unique designs.

Table designers

Dwell Antiques & Home is located just outside of Denver, Colorado in the Cherry Hills Marketplace of Greenwood Village. Dwell is a lifestyle brand: an antiques store, yet so much more. In addition to antique and vintage items, Dwell carries luxury gifts, naturals, handmades, unique jewelry and a variety of new home decorating accents. Table designer Kellie Brown of KB Design Home has come together with partners Joy Phelps and Melanie Everhart in this treasure of a storefront to provide design and decor to local residents.

Holliday “Holly” Johnson is a local influencer/lifestyle blogger who loves to share her passion for easy and affordable, elegant entertaining, home design, holiday decor, and DIY projects through her blog, “Home with Holliday”. She is an interior design professional, mother of two, frequent party hostess, charity event planner, and home stager. Born and raised in Dallas, TX, Holly also loves incorporating the influences of her upbringing into her new life with family and friends here in Colorado.

Over the last 30 years, Holly has owned two interior design companies servicing residential and commercial clients across the country. She has also staged over 100 homes for sale. Several years ago, she was the featured designer for the DIY Channel’s “Ultimate Sportsman’s Lodge” TV series. Three years ago, she felt it was time to branch out and share her personal passions, thus the inspiration for the blog (www.homewithholliday.com) and social media presence.

lulu’s furniture & decor, established in 2007, is locally owned by mother-daughter duo: Christy Vranesic Brant and Caitlin Marsh. After several years in Denver’s LoHi neighborhood, we are now located in the Southern Hills and Wellshire neighborhoods, and excited to be back on this side of town!

In addition to offering interior design services and an abundance of choices in home decor, lulu's also strives to be your go-to store for that special birthday, baby, wedding or housewarming gift . Cherry Creek North’s White Peacock Home + Gift - one of the neighborhood’s newest additions - is owned and curated by the Brass Bed’s Doug Parsons, Molly Myers and Olivia Louis. The concept of White Peacock came to fruition when the three owners were talking about opening a sister store to the Brass Bed, a Denver institution since 1978. After much discussion and given the long absence of former Cherry Creek North favorite International Villa, they knew this new store would fill a much needed category in Denver.

At White Peacock you’ll find the world’s finest hand-painted china, mouth-blown glass, hand-forged flatware, yarn dyed napkins and tablecloths, specialty gifts, bridal registry and more from designers like Anna Weatherley, Baccarat, Juliska, and Sambonet.
